Carter's kisses

Carter does not like to be kissed. Well he will let you kiss him but then 95% of the time he wipes it off. The other night I kissed him on the cheek and he went to wipe it off and he saw me looking at him so he just held his hand on his cheek. I asked him if he was wiping it off and he said that he wasn't but that he was holding it on. That was so cute I thought until he then took his hand off his face and asked me if I would wipe the kiss off. Oh well. It is a great victory for Jon or I if we manage to sneak in a kiss without him wiping it off.

Hannah's Blessing

We were so lucky to be able to have such a large group together for Hannah's blessing. It was a great weekend.

We were also able to celebrate Carter's 4th birthday while everyone was in town. He had a monster truck cake and a monster truck pinata. He was happy just to have so many cousins to play with. He is lucky to have so many that are his age.

Last but not least we were able to gather for Hannah to be sealed to us. It was a beautiful experience and again we are blessed to have been able to have so many dear friends and family to join us.

My sister-in-law Krystal took over 400 pictures of the event. I would love to put them all on but that would take the rest of my life. Thanks Krystal. The pictures are great even if my daughter doesn't smile as much as your does.
We missed those of you who could not make it for any reason.

Cousins

We had a lot of fun while we were in NY for Chirstmas. Scotty and Carter probably enjoyed it the most. They were inseperatable while we were there. Here are a few of their fun times together.
Playing a cool computer game with Dad/Uncle Dan.

Bath time

Watching TV

Tractor ride with Grandpa

Pretending to sleep in the closet at the Palmyra Inn.
Matching tractors that Carter got for Christmas and Scotty got for his birthday.

Carter and Scotty were not the only cousins who had fun togther. Hazel and Hannah also enjoyed some time together although they did not interact with each other as much as their brothers did.

It's final!!!

On December 19 right before we left for NY we had the court hearing to finalize Hannah's adoption. She is officially ours now. We were able to have some family join us for the momentous occasion. Then we had a picnic of McDonald's at the park.

Sitting

This is one of the first times Hannah has been in her Bumbo chair. Her grandma and grandpa bought it for her while they were her in October. It has already started coming in handy as a place to put her that she doesn't think it is time to sleep and she is not in my arms. That time is usually after work when I am trying to make dinner.

Flashback

For those of you who don't know about this outfit, this is the outfit that my Dad bought for me to come home from the hospital in. My Dad had forgotten everything once I was born. He was so shocked that it was a girl that he couldn't even remember his own mothers phone number to call and tell her the good news. Well he went out and bought me an outfit. My Mom tells me that it was a first for him to do that for one of his children. So his first girl after four sons and he got me a football outfit to come home in. Well I got a picture of Hannah wearing the same outfit.

Smiles

Here is a good picture of her smiling. When she starts smiling and "talking" I never want to leave and get the camera. I only have about 10% of her first two months of life on camera compared to Carter. Oh well.
