This weekend we went to Myrtle Beach for my company banquet. It was a quick trip as we had to get back for church since Jon doesn't have any councilors yet. We arrived Friday night and stopped on the way into town at Broadway at the beach and ate a wonderful meal. Carter and I headed to the water while Hannah got settled. He didn't want to get into the water but he already started collecting shells. Saturday morning we were up early and out on the beach. Hannah loved it more than we would have imagined. She crawled and crawled all over. She would stop and try to eat some sand or a shell and then keep crawling. There was a small area on the beach that gets filled up when the tide is in and stayed somewhat full while the tide is out. That was her spot. We brought Jon's niece Kayla with us as a helper and in room babysitter during the banquet and she was a great helper.
After some time on the beach we headed to one of the pools and then onto the water park that is in the group of hotels. The kids played and played. Jon finally headed back to the room with Hannah and before he even walked a portion of the way back to the hotel room she was out. Carter on the other hand would not have ever left if we didn't make him. We got back late last night or this morning depending how you look at it. Over all it was quick but a fun way to end another summer.

Wow that is a great picture of Hannah--posing already :)
I love Hannah! (and the rest of you too!). Carter must think he is such a big boy now--going down the slide all by himself--you're brave!
hannah looks so adorable...how cute is that. mia is almost 2 was was so annoyed that she kept sinking in the sand and couldn't walk around as fast as usual...love myrtle beach but we did that same trip the week before to be back for the hatala's baby being blessed...not too fun.
Excellent pictures! That looks like such a fun time, even if only for a day.
That picture of Hannah posing is priceless; I love it!
